XRP News Today: Garlinghouse Says 67 Million US Crypto Users Aren’t Going Anywhere

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has pushed back against claims that the midterm results are bad news for crypto. In a post on X, Garlinghouse said lawmakers who support the industry were elected from both parties, and that the more than 67 million Americans who use crypto are not going away. He described the goal as unchanged for the new Congress, with clear rules for digital assets built in the US. Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty said the picture is more mixed than headlines suggest. He noted that crypto PAC Fairshake won key races in both the primaries and the general election, and early Stand With Crypto data shows many pro-crypto members heading to Congress. Alderoty said Ripple will keep funding political engagement and education through groups like the National Cryptocurrency Association.
