Two people injured in the drone attack on the Samara Region are in moderate condition, while another is in satisfactory condition. The regional government reported this to RIA Novosti.

According to regional authorities, all of the victims are receiving the necessary medical care in full. No further details about their condition have been provided.

Earlier, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev reported that one man was killed and three others, including a child, were injured as a result of the attack by Ukrainian drones. In addition, private homes, apartment buildings, and one of the region’s industrial facilities sustained damage.

The Samara Region has repeatedly come under attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. For example, on the night of September 20, 2025, the deadliest attack since the start of the special military operation took place, resulting in four deaths and one injury. During this attack, the main targets were facilities in the fuel and energy sector, specifically the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery. Earlier, on August 2, 2025, an elderly man was killed in the Kuibyshevsky District of Samara when debris from a UAV fell on his summer cottage.

Regional authorities regularly issue warnings about the danger of UAV attacks. For example, in January 2025, such warnings were issued three times in one week. To protect against drones in the Samara Region, plans are underway to form paramilitary units, and military commissariats are selecting citizens for the mobilization reserve. In the event of attacks, Kurumoch Airport in Samara has repeatedly suspended operations; flights have been delayed or canceled; and air travel in the region as a whole has faced restrictions.
